Audit and Mock Inspection Solutions
Providing mock audit and inspection solutions to the health and social care sector.
LSW Care Solutions can carry out comprehensive mock regulatory audit & inspection visits, supporting with delivering on the actions.
A Mock CQC or Care Inspectorate Inspection is a full audit and inspection of your service using the CQC’s Key Lines of Enquiry for English services and Health and Social Care standards, Scotland.
The aim is to highlight any issues and possible regulatory breaches so you have time to address these before any real inspection. Regulators also expect providers to show evidence of their internal monitoring so it is important to be ready.
Just like in a real inspection, our CQC and Care Inspectorate compliance experts will carry out a thorough audit of the care service you provide against the Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE) England and Health and Social Care Standards Scotland. They’ll be asking those all-important question following the regulators own inspection methodology. They will also talk to the staff, people who use the services and others to get a thorough understanding of your service.
Once complete, a full report will be made available to you along with an action plan to ensure you can address any non-compliance issues and give you support and guidance on how to meet these. Any additional support to drive improvements following our audits an inspection is also available. We can support you to be inspection ready and importantly sustain the improvements.
The duration of your Mock CQC or Care Inspectorate Inspection depends on how large your organisation is. We will also advise on the type of inspection dependent on whether you are a new service, a service in crisis or with a current poor rating or regulatory breaches.
We can also provide a robust audit schedule to evidence robust Governance oversight in your organisation and can carry out ad hoc audits for you such as Infection Control, Nutrition and hydration, Care plans and medication.
Our associates will also be able to guide you in the difference between achieving Good and Outstanding.
